Portable Drill Rigs

About

Quality. Durability. Performance.

History

RockBuster International started out of our construction company, Jewett Construction, Inc. in 2010 when the U.S. recession of 2008 finally found it’s way to a steel mill in our sleepy little town of Jewett, Texas. Nucor Steel, one of the worlds largest steel makers contracted our construction company to do many jobs from dirt work to fabrication. That fabrication experience, as well as a great knowledge in diesel and hydraulic powered machines, was a great match for building quality and durable portable drilling rigs. We acquired the rights to manufacture the RockBuster brand that April of 2010.

Our total 10,000 sqft of shop space with the main shop at 40 foot tall with two overhead 10 ton cranes gives us all the space we need to safely and efficiently construct our RockBuster branded drilling rigs. The engines and hydraulic parts we sourced are of the highest quality from brands like Caterpillar, Kubota, Danfoss, Eaton, etc. Steel is primarily sourced from that same steel mill we did contract work for and which is located right next door. All other components are brought from distributors located right here in the U.S.A.

President/owner

Billy Wood

Billy started working at a young age as a dozer operator on pipe line crews in the oil field. Then moved into the Forestry industry in east Texas. When the lumber company he was working for was about to shut down, he moved his family to Jewett, Texas and took a job as a diesel mechanic for Westmorland Coal Company. For 15 years he work there with no lost time, until the time he started his own excavating construction company where he has still yet to log any lost time.
